RESERVATIONS
AND POLICIES
Reservations:
We highly recommend advance reservations. Due to local
events, reservations may be required many months in advance.
We require a two-night minimum on weekends, three-night
minimum on Holidays or Event Weekends, May 1st through
October 31st.
Deposit:
To secure your reservation, payment of the first night
by credit card is required at the time the reservation
is made.
Cancellations:
If you have to cancel your visit at the Inn, please provide
at least 7 days notice prior to your scheduled arrival
date to receive a refund of deposit less a $25.00 cancellation
fee per room. For groups of 2 couples or more, Holidays,
or Event Weekends please provide 14 days notice. Late
cancellation will result in a credit card charge of the
entire cost of your stay for all of the rooms you reserved.
If we are able to re-book the room(s), (and we will do
our very best to try to make this happen) we will not
charge your credit card. Early departures are handled
as cancellations and the same policies apply. If you do
not show up or call to cancel your reservations,we will
charge your credit card for the entire stay for all of
the rooms you reserved.
Breakfast:
A full multi-course gourmet breakfast is served at
9:00 a.m. in the Victorian House Dining Room. Hot Coffee
and Tea will be ready at 8:00 a.m.
Check-In:
Check-In is 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please call to make
other arrangements if these times do not work well with
your traveling schedule.
Check-out:
Check out is at 11:00 a.m., or by special arrangement
in advance.
We
accept Visa, American Express and Master Card. We do not
accept checks.
Other
Important Details:
•
Please, No Smoking in the Inn or Rooms. There are plenty
of areas outside to smoke
on the porch or balcony.
• The Shelford House is designed for adults desiring
a quiet and romantic retreat, and
as such, is not suitable for children under 12
years of age.
• No pets allowed.
